FEAR?

Forever Evolving Attained Reality
"Fear is simply a missed opportunity to do something great. It is a four-letter word with a bad reputation".
- J. Kyle Howard

You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet!

Man's history is dotted with accomplishments, overcoming obstacles, and beating the odds at every turn. We have become masters of our environment. Look at our history. We've partnered with gravity to become masters of the sky and outer space. We have harnessed electricity and fire and are now masters of energy. We use the sun as a source of solar energy. We have partnered with earth and have mastered agriculture enough to feed the entire world. We have learned to artificially breath under water to become masters of the sea. We have mastered the airwaves so that no matter where you are sitting right now, I can communicate with you instantly via internet, telephone, television, radio, etc.

With all of these major accomplishments, the one thing man has yet to master is himself particularly when it comes to dealing with his own fears. With all the technological advances we've made and all the studying of this great earth, we are still plagued by the same fears that plagued prehistoric man. It's almost a sad testimony to our otherwise glorious accomplishments. However, that's all about to change. Not only am I going to reveal our six most deadly fears, I am going to show you how to befriend that aspect of you and make it an ally in your success.

Unmasking F.E.A.R.

Every person on this planet (yes, even yours truly) is afraid of something. Whatever fear it may be was inherited either through physical heredity or social heredity. But before I explain the concept of inherited fear, let me show you what the six basic or major fears are. There may be some lesser fears not mentioned here. These were identified as most significant.

  1. The fear of Dying
  2. The fear of Old Age
  3. The fear of Criticism
  4. The fear of Loss of Love or of Someone
  5. The fear of Sickness (in all of its different flavors)
  6. The fear of Poverty

Obviously, you don't catch fear from someone sneezing as you might a cold. All that man is, was, or will ever be came through two forms of heredity---social and physical. Man has evolved from whatever he was in the beginning to what he is today. Along with that evolving was the development of the six fears listed above that was passed from one generation to the next.

Here's the most amazing part, the fears I speak of were not biological or physical abnormalities. They had nothing to do with eye color, skin color, height, weight, or ethnic background. No, these tricky little devils are simply states of mind developed for the survival of the species (remember this little detail) but has been used against us at every turn.

Fighting Fire With Fire Creates an Explosion

Sad but true, whenever man tends to not understand something, his first response is to try and destroy it. Fear is no different. Hundreds of books have been written about how to conquer, eliminate, or destroy fear. The problem is that fear is as much a part of us as our fingers and toes. And, you know darn well that those little appendages can and often do get us into trouble. So what do we do with fear? Let's first approach fear from the definition of fear being a form energy.

enˇerˇgy: the force driving and sustaining mental activity - The American HeritageŽ Stedman's Medical Dictionary

Unfortunately for us we've been taught how to handle fear from the very same people who gave it to us in the first place and quite honestly who haven't properly dealt with their own. But we (who are now mavericks in life) are going to change that.

It is a scientific fact that energy cannot be destroyed, it can only be altered. Since we now agree that fear is a mental state which is an energy form; and since we cannot destroy energy, it makes sense to simply alter it and use it to our advantage. But, before we do that......

What has FEAR cost you?

Let's take a look at the price you pay for buying into fear the way you are currently taught.

When you buy intoIt really costs you
The fear of DyingThe moment to moment joys of life
The fear of Old AgeThe experience of the great wonders of life
The fear of CriticismThe spontaneity and freedom of a child
The fear of Loss of Love/SomeoneThe joy of expressing unconditional love
The fear of SicknessThe pleasures that life offers
The fear of PovertyThe experience of true wealth and abundance

As you can see, it is of no benefit for you to fight the energy of fear with the energy used to try and conquer it. There is an old saying about "Make your enemy your friend" and it could not be truer in this instance. So I want you to resolve within yourself right now that "Fear is your friend" and you are going to use it with the knowledge you gain here and on the other pages to have the life of your dreams. When you are ready, I will show you how to use FEAR to prosper. As always, keep an open mind. You just might discover something new.
